My New Business

For the last month, I have been trying to decide if I want to start a business with Arbonne. After weeks (at least a month) of thinking, talking to Kenny, and lots of praying, I've decided that this is a business for me! I'm very excited about it!!

There are many reasons why I'm wanting to do this. If you know me, then you probably know that I am not loving my 8-5pm job (and that I never have liked working full-time anywhere). I also get tired of being in front of a computer at least 32 hours a week. I also want to start my business and have a strong foundation by the time we have a family so that I can stay at home. We have been working in that direction anyway, but having a little extra income will help us greatly when we do decide to start our family. Right now, I look at it as having some extra money for renovations and vacations and any emergency income that we need. My hope is that as I promote, I will be able to supplement my income from my current job and be able to move on...and I would LOVE to do that even before we have kids. I also want to help people...and these products do just that!

I have been in Arbonne before, but it was a way (and a time of my life) that I wasn't very comfortable with it. This time, the method will be a different. Many women have amazing success with this company and I know I can too. When I went to a party over a month ago, I sat there and just remembered how much I LOVE their products and how life changing they are to people. I thought, "If I LOVE it this much and am constantly recommending it to people, why would I not sell it and make money doing it?" Its just like working at the MAC counter in the mall, except the products are better (including their make-up!!!! I'm sold on it now!) :)

Looking at this business opportunity, I see it has many aspects that I LOVE and things that are very ME. :) I LOVE being around people...and not stuck behind a desk! Parties and girl-time are SO absolutely fabulous...the building of relationships and talking to people! My degree is in Health...There's not a better company to work for that can help people!!! I can offer products that help people with many aspects of their health! And if you know me, you know I LOVE playing in make-up!!!! Plus, this business allows me to share my faith and how God is working in my life and all the blessings He's given me.

My first month I've heard is typically the hardest time for a consultant. We rely on friends and family to have a party so that we can network and be introduced to people we wouldn't normally meet. Plus, I will continue getting the education I need to build my success. I'm hoping to be in qualification for my first promotion by the end of May. I'm excited to be working for a health and wellness company. We have something for every age and for both men and women. There are a few types of parties: skin care; spa; make-up; health and wellness.

My prayer is that doors will open that I have never imagined! I pray that God will help me to work through fears and grow me spiritually through this. And I pray that this will be a success in taking our family where we would like to be headed! :)
