Texas Vacation: Day Four
Thursday morning, we were up and packed and having breakfast and heading south! The drive to San Antonio was nice and we were very excited to get there! We arrived around 11am and tried to check into the hotel, but they weren't ready for us yet. So, we left the car with the valet and headed out to the RIVERWALK!!!! As soon as we got there, we just felt at home!!!! We love love love it there!!!!! We enjoyed Autsin, but it just wasn't "us". As soon as we got on the Riverwalk, we just felt like San Antonio was our scene. Its so beautiful! So, our first stop was our first place we went on our honeymoon..."Casa Rio"! Fabulous lunch and margaritas!!!! After lunch, we stopped off at the Buckhorn Saloon for a drink and then walking around downtown until we could check-in.

Our hotel was wonderful!!!! We stayed at the Emily Morgan Hotel. Its not right on the river, but its an easy walk from it. We stayed in a king suite plaze and it was HUGE!!!! We did have a great view of The Alamo and all of downtown!!! Even the jacuzzi for two had a bay window with a wonderful view! :) We definitely got more room for our money, than if we stayed right on the river. The customer service was fabulous and the food/drinks that their restaurant, ORO, was wonderful.

After we got settled, we headed out once more. We weren't staying in San Antonio long, so we made the most of every minute we were there. We went to Hemisphere Park and the Tower of the Americas. For our Honeymoon, we had gone there for dinner one night....this time we were just there for Happy Hour.

After a drink, we went to the river and walked around and shopped!

The weather was beautiful! We walked the river until we were hungry and finally ended up at The Lone Star Cafe. The food wasn't that great, but we did enjoy the margaritas! And, then we headed back to the hotel
