Let's Talk Wedding: The Dress, Part 4

I had found my dress! I only needed my mom to see it. We scheduled an appointment the very next weekend. She had already seen it in a picture and liked it, but I still wanted her to be there in person. Another girls' day out! My mom's mom, Mema, was coming with us and we would meet Michelle and Finley there too. While we were there to mainly get my dress, we also sat down with Moe to talk about the bridesmaids' dresses and my mom's dress. Both of those we'll talk about later.

Mom, Mema and I got into OKC and it was pouring down rain!!! We had a nice little lunch at Cafe 501 and then headed to the dress shop. When we got there, I tried the dress on and mom LOVED it too! This time all the emotion came! I got the girly, "this is it" feeling and all was well. :)
As I was trying it on, Moe came through and remembered that I had been there the weekend before. He made me feel SO good about my decision b/c he said that the dress fit me perfectly! He also said I had the perfect body for it...he had seen it on several other brides and said that it just didn't look right. Woo Hoo!!!! I was fully expecting to have him make my dress, but I found something that I LOVED and it fit perfectly with a small alteration to the bust. I didn't even need the length taken up. AWESOME!
And to top it off...they had the exact veil I was looking for!!! I had wanted the bubble veil from Meg Guess and was worried I wouldn't find it. I wanted my veil to be "poofy" and tall! I wanted it to be dramatic since my dress was very plain. I was so very excited when they walked in with the PERFECT veil!!!! I am so thankful my grandmother, my mom and my best friend all got to be with me!!! We ordered both the dress and veil...and all for under $1000!!!!! YAY!!!! It was all perfect!!! :) God is SO very, very good!!!!
