Bridal Shower #1 - Minnesota

I can't believe I am just now starting to blog about our trip to Minnesota last year. I had the BEST intentions of posting all of this a long time ago and including our entire trip! However, this blogging/"scrapbooking" about our wedding has taken longer than I thought. I'm sure I'll forget little details, but I've surprised myself with how much I'm remembering one year later.

Anyway---the first thing I will blog about our Minnesota trip was that Ken's mom threw us a big shower!!!! It was SOOOO sweet of her and PERFECT for me to meet everyone....and for Ken to see a lot of people he hasn't seen in a long time. Plus, it gave people a chance to see us that couldn't make the trip to the wedding. It was so fun to meet all of the family and friends that mean so much to Ken. My intention was to get a picture with every family that was there, but the day was so fun and we just missed people as they left. :( I also remember it being SOOO hot and humid. I just assumed that it being up north would always be cooler than where we live. Anway---Sandie went to SO much work with all the food and invitations and opening her home to all the people! It was so gracious and wonderful! The food was FABULOUS!!!!! And meeting so many people was fun!!!! Here are some pictures I did get at the shower. I'll post the rest of our MN trip another time.
