For 15 years, my husband has had the same career. Different states, different cities, but always the same career. Over the last year, we have been offered the opportunity for him to do something different. At first, we didn't really think much of it, but after weighing the pro's and con's of it, we realized that it was something we were definitely interested in pursuing. So after a LOT of prayer and seeking what God wanted for us, he started learning as much as he could and studying for his licensing test. At the end of September, he made an incredible career change from something he's always known to something BRAND NEW!!! He is now going to be in the family business of working investments and retirement. We are excited and know that this where God wants us. Its a place my sweet husband can grow and help people in a way that he never has. He's absolutely LOVING it! And I love that he is extremely happy.
To look back and watch all that God prepared us for is incredibly humbling! His timing is incredibly perfect. No matter how much I try to fight it sometimes, God always shows me that waiting for His timing is best....and that He knows exactly what we need. Its been a beautiful story....some days it wasn't so great....but the path is beautiful b/c our Mighty God just showed us that He loves us and is protecting us in ways that we never saw until now. We are excited about our future and the people will get to encounter through this. We humbly thank the Lord for where we are right now.
