Its finally November and the holidays are just around the corner. This is my favorite time of year!!!! I love the weather, I love the fall colors, I love sweaters and boots, I love the food, I love the music and I love being with family and celebrating our faith! My favorite blog-tradition has become "30 Days of Thankfulness". Now, I don't really know if "thankfulness" is a REAL word, but I like it. :) This is the time I reflect on each day and take time to truly be thankful for what God has given me. This year, I really want to be thankful for some of the things that I take for granted.
November 1st - Today I had lunch with one of my precious friends. We've been friends for a long time and have shared different life changes. What I'm thankful for today is not only her friendship and our quality time together....but I'm thankful for the intimate conversations we had today. Sometimes life is great and sometimes life is not-so-great. We shared both today. I'm thankful that we can be honest and that we can pray for each other. I'm thankful that in the ups and downs of life, we can lean on each other.
