30 Days of Thankfulness, Day 2

November 2, 2010 - I'm thankful that we were able to get out and support our local FFA and 4-H Chapter. Our neighbors invited us to eat at Chili's tonight, where a percentage of our purchase would go towards the local FFA and 4-H. I have a huge passion for this b/c I was in FFA in high school. It was a very, very memorable time in my life. I bought a lamb, named Madison, to show in livestock shows. I LOVED this time of my life! I loved it so much that the first major I declared in college was Agricultural Education. I'm so thankful that we have such sweet neighbors that we can invest our lives in...and make their future brighter as well. I'm thankful that we were able to support a program that I love and cherish. I'm so thankful that there are still programs for kids that teach and encourage them in a positive manner. I HOPE that one day I have kids that will want to be a part of programs that we can cheer them on!!! :)
