30 Days of Thankfulness, Day 4
November 4, 2010 - I'm thankful for my sweet friend, Abby. Right now, she lives in Washington State, but will soon be moving to Washington, D.C.!!!! Crazy, huh??? Moving completely across the United States. Her husband serves in the U.S. Army. I'm always so humbled by that! Anyway---She and I met right after I finished college and we were in a bible study together. We probably lived in the same town for about 6 months, maybe? In that short amount of time, we bonded like no other. I love her so much! She moved to North Carolina, then to Washington State and is now moving again. Through out all these years (I want to say its been over 9 years), we have kept in touch and encouraged each other and held each other accountable in our walks with our Lord! I am thankful that we share the same faith. I'm thankful that we have a common stronghold. I know that sounds weird that you are thankful that someone else walks in sin the same way you to do, but she encourages me b/c she understands what I'm talking about. I bring her up today b/c we usually talk about once a month, and tonight was the night that we got to catch up. I have desperately needed her friendship and I cup was filled tonight. She is beautiful in every way and God is so good to place her in my life. I am thankful for the friendship He has given she and I. I am thankful for sweet spirit. I am thankful that I can be brutally honest and she still loves me. I am thankful that she encourages me in the Lord and I walk away from our visit feeling lifted! I love you, Abby and so thankful you are in my life!

OH my goodness Beth! You almost made me cry!! I love you more than you will ever know. How perfect God is in His timing, for such times as these.
I thank my God every time I remember you, and thank Him for your love for others, your kindness and mercy.
Like Paul, I long to see you and pray that it happens soon, but I know with confidence, either way that you are in my heart and prayers. Thank you for all that you are in Christ!
