30DT: Day 2

I am thankful for soul-mate-couple friends! We met the McGuire's about a year and a half ago...maybe the guys have known each other for 2 years. Anyway---As soon as we started hanging out, the four of us just clicked. It seems we are in the same place in life and enjoy the same things. Somehow, Mr. M and I have met previously but we just can't figure out when or where. For a long time it was frustrating and we'd just sit there listing all of our friends to see if any were similar. Now, we've just let it go. Last Fall and Spring, our schedules allowed us to meet every single week. We'd swap houses and we'd cook for each other with the occasional dinner out. Over the summer, it seemed things got so busy in all of our lives and the weekly dropped to about once a month. Last night was the first time we'd seen them since August. It was WAY over-due!!! We had so much fun and promised that we wouldn't let so much time go by....and, we're not! Us girls have another dinner scheduled for next week...and the boys can come along too. :)

I'm so thankful for their friendship and being able to pick up where we left off. Its such a blessing to have another couple in the same season of life to talk with and do things with.
