30DT: Day 9
I'm thankful that our kids have a safe place to stay when we're on vacation. Today we drove to Tulsa to pick up the Ruger and Lexis. We went into the office for a few hours to work and then to my mom and dad's house to see the pups. I LOVE when Ruger sees me for the first time. He runs in circles and goes crazy and jumps and wags his little nub of a tail. Its so cute! Lexis gets pretty excited in her old age as well. She tries to jump up on her hind legs or bark, so its pretty cute. We had dinner with my parents before heading back home...but when its time to go we all try to be the first one to ask Ruger if he is "ready to go bye-bye" or "ready to go home". He spazzes out! PaPa carries him out and we all say good-bye. That's pretty much the same routine each time. I'm so thankful that the dogs get a long with my parents' dogs. I'm so thankful they are willing to watch our kids for us so we can have a little trip. I love that the dogs are safe and enjoy their time with Grammie and PaPa!
