my husband - I'm thankful that my husband realizes that my quiet time is important to me. If you are around us for any length of time you will hear us give each other a hard time about how he "isn't allowed" to come downstairs in the morning before I leave for work. When we were first married, he learned pretty quickly that I do my bible study first thing in the morning. Its how I start my day. Its my time with Jesus. He didn't understand why I'd get so frustrated with him if he tried to have conversations with me in the morning....while I'm sitting at the table...with my bible open....reading. Ha! He still gives me a hard time for it, but I do appreciate that he gives me space in the morning to have time with God.
my family - I'm thankful for my nephew, Mason. He is such an encouragement to others and a leader! Not only among his peers, but anyone who knows him is impacted by his life. He is a gentleman and respects people. I love seeing his love for the Lord and how he glorifies God in every single aspect of his life.
my friends - As we are preparing to leave, my thoughts are already on our return b/c I'm getting excited about my 3rd annual brunch. Every year I do this to give back to the women that are closest to me during the year. These women encourage me and minister to me. I love it when I start thinking about it b/c I see how much God has blessed me in the friendship area. I invite the women that are physically close to me too. There are a few that I would love to come, but geography gets in the way. I am so thankful for God always providing friends in my life that love me and walk with me.
