From Great Value (Walmart) Mini Marshmallow Package
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 can evaporated milk (5 fl oz or 2/3 cup)
1 pkg great value miniature marshmallows
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups walnuts, coarsley chopped
1. Lightly grease a foil-lined 9x13 baking dish
2. Heat sugar, butter/margarine, milk and marshmallows over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 5 minutes.
3. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla extract, stirring until chips are melted and blended. Stir in walnuts. Immediately transfer into prepared dish.
4. Refrigerate overnight. Cut into one inch squares and then store in air tight container in refrigerator. For creamier fudge, let stand at room temp. one hour before serving.

What I did:
The only thing I changed was that my evaporated milk was REALLY old. I forgot to check the date before I went to the store. So, I just chanced it and used 1 cup of milk in its place. It turned out just fine! I also didn't have any walnuts or pecans to add.

Did we like it?
Yes. Its really good. I have never made fudge before and Ken LOVES it!!! So, I saw this recipe and decided to try it. He would prefer nuts in it, but he does like it. I would probably make it again, but I also might try another recipe since this was my first try. We'll see!
